[[Where's the weekend?!?!]]

So much for the long weekend. HOW COME IT IS OVER SO SOON?!?!?! Man...I haven't really enjoyed myself enough and it's back to work tomorrow again. Sighx...

Had a lot to do throughout the whole weekend though. It began on Friday when me, Wilfred and Cheryl went to the airport to see off Jem and his friend. Those two lucky guys, backpacking in Europe and Middle East for 3 weeks. I wish I had the money to do that too. They should be in Oman right now. It must be really so so fun.

Saturday was probably the worst of the lot. Because Man United lost in the FA Cup final. It is such a hard pill to swallow, especially when they had so many chances to score and win, and Arse-nal played like wimps for more than 120 minutes. No thanks to the referee too. He did such a poor job and made a joke out of the standard of Premiership referees. Even a 10 year-old can do a much better job. So pissed off...

Sunday was better though. Had a BBQ at a secondary school friend's condo, and about 15 people turn up, I think. It was great meeting up with them again, although some couldn't make it, which was such a shame. Hopefully we would get another chance to have such a gathering again. Always pleases me and never fail to make my day when I get to meet up with people from secondary school.

Was at the beach with Wilfred today. Didn't spend much time there, about 2 hours to be exact. Sat there to feel the sea breeze blowing into us, talking about life and such. Left at around 6pm and met up with his friend, Zhiqing, for dinner at Tanjong Pagar. Ate at Maxwell Road and then walked around and continued eating when we got to Chinatown. I know I know...guys you say, never fail to stop eating. But hey, you only live once, ain't that so?

Anywayz we shared a table at Chinatown with 2 Aussie couples, and had quite a chat with 1 of the man. He is really a nice guy, although I find it hard to comprehend his slang on a few occasions. Said they were from Victoria and had been on vacation for more than 2 weeks. They were at China before coming to Singapore, and today was their third day here. A pity they would be leaving tomorrow night, if not I would have recommended them to take a look at Mambo Nite. Heez~

Juz that chat re-iterated my desire to visit Australia once I get the chance. I would love to spend a few weeks or even a month on vacation there. They have so many nice places to visit. The fabulous nature reserves, dolphin lagoons, white sandy beaches and so on. BRING ME TO AUSTRALIA NOW!!!!

So many thoughts running amok in my mind now. I guess I better stop here, before I really go crazy. Haha...the realisation that my next available time to go on a vacation would be after NS, and that is like almost 2 1/2 years away? HELP!!!!! This is very much soul-degrading. And unlike in the past, how I wish for time to really fly by now. PLEASE DO!!!
