[[Miracles, miracles...]]

Damn...miracles do happen in this world.

Within a day, not juz one, but TWO (and I really mean TWO), miracles happened. Talk about coincidences.

Firstly, Liverpool actually won the European Champions League! This is actually a team that failed to finish above Everton in its domestic league but managed to beat Juventus, Chelsea and finally, AC Milan, to win the Champions League. And if you think that was unbelievable, you gotta look at how they won the final.

They looked beaten from the moment Maldini scored within the first minute. And mind you, it was Liverpool who kicked off the first half. By the time it was half-time, they looked like they were already cast into hell, trailing 3-0 with only another half to go.

And the unthinkable actually happened.

In 6 crazy minutes (from the 54th to 60th), they scored 3 times!! Although I have to say that, after looking at the replays, the penalty decision for the third goal was a little dodgy and questionable. But you still have to give credit to this team for displaying the English "never-say-die" attitude. They fought till the end and eventually got their reward, beating Milan on penalties.

Milan have only themselves to blame, for all I saw was complacency from them in the second half. As for the Man of the Match, Jerzy Dudek was on everyone's lips. But my vote goes to Jamie Carragher. He epitomizes every fighting spirit the team has gone the whole season through. Why he wasn't even nominated for Player of the Year was pure injustice.

And now, for the second miracle...

Carrie Underwood has juz won the American Idol. For a Bo fan, I am still coming to terms as to why she had won. This season's competition was really for Bo to lose, and perhaps that was what happened. He didn't have the best of nights during the finals, but in my opinion, neither did Carrie.

I can't help but feel that Simon Cowell wanted Carrie to win all along. It was quite obvious that he was pretty biased and generous with his comments about Carrie. It is unfair to say that Carrie didn't deserve to win a single bit, but I didn't think she was special enough to win.

Anywayz, I hope Bo would be able to cut an album of his own. Somehow, I feel the situation would become similar to American Idol 2. Ruben won, but Clay sold more albums. I certainly would be one anticipating a Bo album. He might not have won, but he still rawks!!

As you see, miracles really do happen in this world. And they happen because people have enough faith and believe in themselves. That is perhaps the only way of giving yourself a chance to turn the impossible to a probable.

Therefore, have faith and belief in everything you do. Because you'll never know when fate will be kind enough to shower you a miracle that could change your whole life.
